• Angola signs exploration deal with De Beers. Diamond giant De Beers signed a memorandum of understanding with Angola on Tuesday which aims to boost exploration and production activities. De Beers CEO Al Cook said Angola would now be the focal point of the company’s exploration activities, and the company would build on its current footprint in Angola. De Beers returned to the country in 2022 after a 10-year absence. (Source)
